Licensing Coordinator
Job Title: Food, health, and beauty associateLocation: Burbank, CAContract Duration: 12 weeks, possibility of extension Job ResponsibilitiesAssists Accessories Team in management of category initiatives, revenue plan, and executionSupports Accessories Team in preparation of quarterly forecasts, accruals, and annual budgets by generating forecast templates, making the initial outreach to licensees, following up on data collection, analyzing and making recommendationsCollaborates with Accessories Team, Licensees, and WBCP Legal by creating, submitting, and tracking merchandise contracts; initiates non-disclosure agreements and import authorization or customs letters for LicenseesTracks product sell-in, launches, and performanceFacilitates the process for products to be featured on WBD social media postsKeeps WBCP internal systems and stakeholders up to date with Licensee contacts and product launch timelines; works with the respective teams to update and edit event attendee listsDevelops timely category updates and communicates information to broad internal and external audiences on behalf of the teamMaintains sample inventory and manages internal sample requestsWorks with Product Development, Marketing, and Publicity to kick off collaborations and project manage through launchAssists in conducting white space analysis, researching potential partners, brainstorming new business opportunities; develops skills to wholistically manage subcategoriesLeads the organization of shared files and tools on behalf of the team (Sharepoint, Airtable, Box)Assists and coordinates the preparation of presentation materials for external and internal presentationsIdentifies and applies competitive and industry key learnings and trendsJOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDSWork Experience2+ years of work experience in Licensing industry, a licensor, vendor, retailer or entertainment environment preferredEducation, Professional Training, Technical Training or CertificationBachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field preferredKnowledge/SkillsBasic licensing industry knowledge with intellectual curiosityAbility to take direction and assist team in executing strategic and operational planBasic understanding of financial forecasts and budgetsStrong collaboration and partnership skillsProven ability to communicate effectively and tactfully cross-functionally with persons on all levels, in person, in written communication, via phone, via video conference, etc.Strong organizational/leadership and planning skills requiredAbility to create pitch/presentationsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPointAbility to work in a team environment with changing priorities; possess flexibility and adaptability skills in addition to strong project managementExceptional time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracyWell organized with effective and proven planning and follow-through skillsAbility to work well under time pressure and time constraintsCurious, self-starter, optimistic and dependable
