Our network features over 590+ physicians and specialists providing high quality care in more than 50 pediatric medical and surgical sub-specialties.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwRXNEj6bHkWhat Awaits You?Career growth and developmentTuition AssistanceDiverse and collaborative working environmentAffordable and comprehensive benefits packageWork Hours: Full Time/Day Shift/5am - 1:30pm with weekend rotationsWork Location: Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL- Blood BankPosition Summary:The laboratory senior medical technologist performs routine and specialized tests in one or various sections of the clinical laboratory in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine independently or with minimal supervision.Recognizes the clinical significance of each test performed and reports results within established time frames.Actively supports the department's continuous quality improvement initiatives and customer service goals through modeling of appropriate behavior and by providing a work environment conducive to attaining these goals.Possesses high attention to detail and can be relied upon for dependable and consistent work output, while ensuring the reporting of quality results and completion of projects.Minimum Qualifications:Education:Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or related scienceClinical Laboratory Supervisor License in the area(s) of responsibility from the State of Florida or Clinical Laboratory Technologist license to work in the assigned areaExperience:5 years of experience as a technician or technologist***Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.Salary Range:Minimum 33.70/hour - Maximum 53.93/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
