Associate Attorney Law

*Overview*We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a diverse range of legal practice areas, including estate planning, family law, litigation, real property law, employment law, and criminal defense. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to legal challenges. As an integral part of our firm, you will contribute to delivering exceptional legal services to our clients while gaining valuable experience across multiple disciplines within a collaborative and energetic environment.*Duties*Conduct comprehensive legal research using LexisNexis and / or Westlaw to support case development and legal strategies across various practice areasDraft clear, precise legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondencePreparing for litigation by organizing case files, evidence, and witness statementsConduct hearings, bench trials and jury trials independentlyProvide legal advice and counsel to clients on estate planning, family law matters, criminal matters, real property disputes, and other legal questionsNegotiate settlements and agreements with opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clientsMaintain accurate records of case activities and ensure compliance with all legal administrative requirements*Qualifications*Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in OregonSome experience or familiarity with estate planning, family law, criminal law or related fields preferredStrong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and / or Westlaw platforms for comprehensive legal analysisExcellent writing skills demonstrated through drafting legal documents and correspondenceAbility to effectively negotiate on behalf of clients in various legal contextsPrior experience in a law office setting with exposure to litigation preferredKnowledge of family law, criminal law, real property law, or estate planning is a plusDemonstrated ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detailJoin us in making a meaningful impact through your legal expertise!
