Lead Performance Engineer

Akkodis is hiring Lead Performance Engineer for a contract job with our client. Ideally looking for Lead Performance Engineer to design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for enterprise and cloud-based applications. .Pay Range: $56 - $60/hr W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)Duration: 6+ months (with possible extension)Required skills:Strong experience in performance testing and engineering best practicesHands-on expertise with Apache JMeter (test plans, scripting, listeners, distributed testing)Front end performance testing experience on Next.js applicationDesign and deployment of performance test frameworkExperience with API automation and performance testing (REST, SOAP)Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, JSON, XMLExperience with performance monitoring tools (APM, server logs, JVM monitoring)Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skillsResponsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter or similar tools for web, API, and backend systemsConduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing for applications and microservicesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Next.js applications, covering unit, integration, and E2E tests.Perform API performance testing (REST/JSON, SOAP) and integrate with automation frameworksAnalyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendationsMonitor system performance metrics (CPU, memory, GC, I/O, network) during test executionCollaborate with development and DevOps teams to optimize application and infrastructure performanceIntegrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelinesPrepare detailed performance test reports and present findings to stakeholdersContinuously improve testing frameworks, tools, and best practicesIf interested, please share your resume at Deep.Kumar@akkodisgroup.comEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
