Step into a role where you can contribute to our shared success through meaningful work.We are actively hiring for a Procurement Specialist - RemoteYour Role The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the enterprise Purchasing Card (P-Card) Program and executing procurement activities for moderate to high complexity goods and services. This role supports business units across the organization, with a primary focus on IT-related purchases, while ensuring strong supplier management, data integrity, and compliance with procurement policies.This position requires the ability to translate business requirements into sourcing solutions, negotiate pricing, mitigate risk, and deliver the best value. The role combines transactional procurement execution with analytical problem solving, supplier coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.The Procurement Specialist operates with moderate independence, exercises judgment within established guidelines, and contributes to continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.Your Work Purchasing Card Program ManagementAdminister the enterprise P-Card program, including application approvals, credit limits, audits, disputes, and account maintenanceProvide training and support to cardholders and managersEnsure compliance with internal policies and audit requirementsProcurement OperationsReview and process purchase requisitions and change ordersExecute sourcing activities, primarily for IT-related goods and servicesIssue requests for quotes (RFQs) and evaluate supplier responsesTrain business users on procure-to-pay (P2P) processesSupplier Management & OnboardingLead supplier onboarding, validation, and approval processesEnsure data accuracy for supplier profiles and payment details in CoupaManage transactional supplier relationships and conduct reviewsResolve supplier-related issues including pricing discrepancies and match exceptionsContracting & NegotiationSupport and manage contract lifecycle activities including SOWs and renewalsReview IT software order forms and agreementsParticipate in contract negotiations; may lead select engagementsCollaborate with Legal, Finance, and Strategic SourcingStrategic Sourcing SupportDevelop RFPs, RFIs, and RFQsFacilitate evaluation and scoring with stakeholdersAnalyze bid data and support supplier selectionData, Systems & Process ImprovementMaintain procurement system data integrityAnalyze transactional data to identify issues and improvementsManage procurement inbox and operational requestsTeam Support & DevelopmentProvide guidance to junior procurement staffSupport development of procurement knowledge and category expertiseRequired Experience, Education And Skills5+ years of procurement or related experience2+ years managing a Purchasing Card program3+ years of category experience (IT, professional services, or corporate spend)Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, and DocuSignExperience with Copilot or AI tools preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and deadlinesStrong communication and team member management skillsUnderstanding of procurement, P2P, and supplier management processesFamiliarity with procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, P-Card platforms)Category knowledge in IT, professional services, or corporate spendWhat would make us excited about you?CPM or equivalent certificationActively shapes our company culture (e.g., participating in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc.)Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.)Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetingsFulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etcPlease note we are hiring for this role remote anywhere in the United States with the following exceptions Hawaii and Alaska.Why Choose a Career at CSAA IG?At CSAA IG, we are a mission-driven organization proudly committed to empowering our members, our employees, and our communities to thrive.
