Job Description: As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing store operations during your shift. You’ll be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and support team members, ensuring they perform their duties efficiently and effectively. - Handle daily operational tasks including opening and closing the store, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness. - Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. - Train, motivate, and evaluate staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. - Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and food handling standards. - Manage cash handling, including register transactions, balancing cash drawers, and preparing deposits. - Assist with scheduling as needed. - Monitor sales and performance metrics, implementing strategies to achieve business goals. Qualifications: - Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a retail or food service environment. - Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in basic math and cash handling. - Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional management or business training is a plus.
