Accounting ManagerThe Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations of the organization, with direct leadership of the Accounts Payable and Payroll functions, while also supporting treasury and cash management activities. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, timely processing of transactions, and effective management of cash flow and banking activities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to drive process improvements across multiple finance functions. For immediate and confidential consideration, email resume to .Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the Accounts Payable and Payroll teams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulationsOversee day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activitiesManage treasury-related functions including cash forecasting, daily cash positioning, bank reconciliations, wire/ACH activity, and banking relationshipsMonitor cash flow and support working capital management initiativesReview payroll processing and related tax filings to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsEnsure accurate AP processing, vendor management, and payment controlsAssist with annual audits and support requests from external auditorsMaintain and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial proceduresPartner cross-functionally with HR, operations, and leadership to support business objectives and resolve financial mattersSupport ERP optimization, system implementations, and process improvement initiativesPrepare financial reports and analysis for management as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilitiesExperience overseeing payroll, accounts payable, and treasury/cash management functionsStrong understanding of GAAP and internal controlsExperience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsCPA or CMA designation preferredExperience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity environments a plusExperience with cash forecasting and banking/treasury management tools preferred
