Sankyu Sushi & Izakaya is hiring an experienced Server to join our front-of-house team. We are a casual, middle-to-high-end sushi restaurant focused on warm hospitality, high-quality Japanese food, and a comfortable dining experience. We are looking for someone who is professional, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of serving experience , strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in hospitality. ResponsibilitiesProvide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guestsTake orders accurately and communicate clearly with the kitchen and sushi barGuide guests through the menu, including sushi, rolls, izakaya dishes, drinks, and specialsMaintain clean and organized tables, service areas, and dining room sectionsRun food, clear tables, refill drinks, and support teammates when neededHandle guest questions, requests, and concerns with care and professionalismFollow restaurant standards for timing, presentation, and guest serviceWork closely with managers, hosts, bussers, sushi chefs, and kitchen staff RequirementsMinimum 1 year of serving experience requiredRestaurant experience in sushi, Japanese cuisine, or upscale casual dining preferredMust be dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a teamStrong communication and customer service skillsComfortable working evenings, weekends, and busy shiftsAble to multitask while staying organized and professionalMust have a positive attitude and willingness to learnKnowledge of sake, wine, cocktails, or Japanese food is a plus What We’re Looking ForWe want someone who understands that good service is more than taking orders.
