Community Manager for Coworking + Office Suites

Job DescriptionThe Commons is the only coworking space on the Upper East Side and provides workspaces for entrepreneurs, freelancers, artists, and teams. We offer an environment where our members can focus, collaborate, and host meetings or events. We’re looking for a friendly and organized Community Manager to join our team. More about .The RoleYou will be responsible for making sure the space is operating smoothly and that members are happy. This is a varied role, from giving tours, taking inventory, troubleshooting, and more. This role reports to the Senior Community Manager.Daily Tasks include (but are not limited to):Create a welcome and productive environmentAct as the point of contact for members on a daily basisProvide toursCoordinate bookingsPlan and facilitate small-scale eventsEnsure all areas of the space are tidy, clean, and organizedConnect with vendors and manage inventory purchasingAssist Community Manager as neededAbout YouYou should be an energetic, organized, friendly, and reliable person who is excited to be part of an established coworking space that prioritizes community. You will be able to self-manage and identify things that need to get done. You should also have a good sense of humor and be ready to help members, manage the space, and resolve problems.
