Your primary focus will be diagnosing, repairing, and servicing Cadillac vehicles to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards. You will work closely with service advisors and other technicians to deliver timely and accurate repairs, contributing to a seamless customer experience. This role demands a strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning to keep up with evolving automotive technologies. Ultimately, your expertise will help uphold Joe Bullard Cadillac's reputation as a trusted provider of premium automotive service in the United States.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Completion of an accredited automotive technology program.ASE certification at the B Level or equivalent experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Proven experience working on late-model vehicles, preferably luxury brands.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience working specifically with Cadillac vehicles or General Motors products.Advanced ASE certifications beyond B Level, such as L1 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist.Familiarity with dealership service operations and customer service best practices.Ability to use manufacturer-specific diagnostic software and tools.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on all makes of vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, and mechanical systems.Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks.Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and software to identify vehicle issues accurately and efficiently.Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair needs, timelines, and cost estimates to customers.Maintain detailed records of all services performed, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and warranty requirements.Stay current with Cadillac technical bulletins, service updates, and training to enhance repair quality and efficiency.Ensure the workshop is organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.Skills:The required skills enable the technician to accurately diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems, ensuring that all work meets Cadillac's high standards. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software is essential for efficient troubleshooting and repair, reducing vehicle downtime and enhancing customer satisfaction.
