The intern will work on real, high‑impact projects that support business needs, gain exposure to senior and site‑level leadership, and help bring our site and employer brand to life across internal platforms.This role supports site‑wide and executive‑level communications, requiring strong attention to detail, sound visual judgment, and the ability to translate ideas into polished, on‑brand, and engaging content suitable for leadership audiences.What a typical day looks like:Support the creation of internal communication materials including newsletters, announcements, campaigns, and employee spotlightsDevelop branded visual assets such as PowerPoint presentations, templates, graphics, and digital content aligned with corporate brand guidelinesAssist in the development of executive‑ready presentations, ensuring clarity, visual consistency, and professional storytellingDraft and adapt messaging for internal platforms including Teams, SharePoint, digital screens, and email communicationsSupport visual storytelling efforts that highlight site achievements, company culture, values, and employee experiencesAssist with photography and basic video creation/editing for events, internal campaigns, and leadership communicationsHelp design and support logos, apparel, signage, and promotional materials for site initiatives and engagement programsMaintain and update SharePoint pages and internal content, ensuring accuracy, ease of navigation, freshness, and visual consistencySupport communication and branding efforts for key initiatives such as onboarding, recognition, wellness, learning, and community eventsCollaborate closely with Program Managers, site leadership, and cross‑functional partners to ensure alignment, accuracy, and timely deliveryStudent qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:Senior‑level undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related fieldStrong PowerPoint and visual presentation design skills, with an eye for executive‑level qualityExperience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent design toolsWorking knowledge of photography and basic video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar) preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a passion for storytelling and brandingStrong aesthetic judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to high standardsHighly organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentAbility to collaborate effectively while also working independently and proactively Portfolio RequirementApplicants must provide a portfolio or work samples, which may include presentation design, branding projects, graphics, photography, video content, or digital platforms.What Success Looks Like In This RoleInternal communications that are visually consistent, engaging, and professionally executedPresentations and materials that require minimal rework for leadership reviewPositive employee engagement with internal content and campaignsStrong working relationships with Program Management and site leadershipInternship Program Requirements:Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignmentCurrently enrolled in 4-year accredited university3.0 minimum GPASiteFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
