Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school-based Physical Therapist position is available for an itinerant role serving multiple campuses in the Irvine, California area. This full-time opportunity runs from August 13, 2026, through November 15, 2026, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday during school hours. The position involves traveling between locations to provide in-person therapy services during the school day.Key responsibilities include:Delivering direct physical therapy services to students across multiple school sitesAdministering student assessments and evaluating needsCollaborating with educational teams and attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetingsDeveloping and implementing therapy plans tailored to students goalsMaintaining clear and timely documentation of services providedQualifications and experience desired:Active Physical Therapist license for the State of CaliforniaAbility to comply with fingerprinting requirements as mandated by the state and school districtTeaching credential requirements to be confirmed and updated accordinglyPrevious experience in school-based physical therapy or pediatric settings preferredStrong communication and organizational skills for managing itinerant caseloadsThis contract role provides an excellent opportunity for a skilled Physical Therapist to support students educational and developmental needs within a dynamic school environment.
