CT Tech Location: Grand Blanc, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,488 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/22/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 3-12hr shifts Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities and demonstrate qualities such as teamwork, initiative, and flexibility. Description: Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Explains examination procedure to patients and prepares patients for the examination. Reviews clinical data on requisition and performs appropriate examinations. Obtains additional information about patient medical history as necessary. Prepares procedure room and regularly replenishes stock such as linen and related supplies. Analyzes anatomical structure of patient, sets up equipment, and performs the CT scan. Manually controls the equipment to obtain the proper diagnostic information from the area of the body being studied. Administers intravenous contrast media and utilizes power injectors. Monitors patients for possible reactions as appropriate to the study and provides immediate care if a reaction should occur. May prepare and set up sterile equipment, monitors, and supplies required for the procedure. Ensures adequate supplies are on hand and properly stored. Assists in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies. Performs all imaging procedures by demonstrating principles of radiation protection. Resolves any image exceptions and ensures high-quality image delivery. Completes all study indexing in the Radiology Information System. Reviews and confirms clinical protocols as necessary before performing studies. Demonstrates Team member standards of excellence including open communication, responding in a timely manner, and displaying a positive attitude. Performs all documentation in the medical record as necessary to support clinical and billing functions. May work in a fixed unit or in an ambulatory mobile unit. May be potentially exposed to radiation if proper precautions are not utilized. May be exposed to high-voltage equipment and potentially contagious patients. Occasionally may lift and/or move equipment and/or patients exceeding 10 lbs. Education required is a High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Must maintain required hours of continued medical education. Demonstrates customer service values and accepts and respects diversity without judgment.
