Technical Project ManagerLocation: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)Compensation: $50-55/hrPosition Type: Long-term ContractJob SummaryThe Technical Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and governing delivery activities for Enterprise Architecture (EA) teams aligned to complex business and technology initiatives. This role ensures Enterprise Architecture commitments, dependencies, risks, and deliverables are visible, coordinated, and delivered in alignment with broader initiative goals.This role will combine strong program and project delivery expertise with a technical foundation, stakeholder management skills, and leadership across teams. The TDM helps plan, coordinate, and govern EA delivery activities while fostering collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and govern EA delivery activities for complex business and technology initiatives through the initiative lifecycleDevelop and manage EA delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and resource needs in coordination with business unit initiative plansCoordinate across cross-functional teams including risk, engineering, infrastructure, security, quality assurance, product, and business stakeholdersProvide leadership visibility into delivery health through status reporting, decision tracking, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and escalationsFacilitate alignment among business requirements, solution architecture design, application design, and execution plansTrack EA deliverables such as architecture designs, capability mapping, decisions, and risk assessmentsSupport EA teams in planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectivesManage Jira boards, workflows, delivery artifacts, and Confluence knowledge documentation for strategic initiatives and delivery-related activities to ensure clarity, traceability, and hygienePromote accountability across teams for commitments, deliverables, timelines, and standardsDevelop and monitor delivery health using metrics, KPIs, and dashboardsPromote continuous improvement in delivery practices, team collaboration, and execution efficiency by celebrating successes and applying lessons learnedEnsure compliance with organizational standards, governance processes, regulatory or security requirements where applicable, and the client's Technology Operating Model (ATOM)Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered5+ years of experience in technical project management, program delivery, or technology delivery leadership rolesExperience managing complex, cross-functional technology initiatives involving multiple teams and dependenciesExperience with Agile delivery methodologies, including project planning, sprint execution, and release managementDemonstrated ability to manage delivery risks, issues, dependencies, schedules, and stakeholder communicationsStrong general technical acumen with the ability to engage effectively with engineers, architects, and technical leadersExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills with the ability to engage across multiple leadership levelsExperience using delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar platformsExperience managing or coordinating business, technical, and architectural requirements through delivery lifecycle artifactsStrong organizational, attention to detail, and effective time management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience using Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot, or other enterprise AI toolsExperience supporting Enterprise Architecture or Business Architecture teamsFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google CloudExperience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and modern engineering practicesKnowledge of enterprise architecture, integration platforms, security controls, and operational readiness processesCertifications such as:Project/program delivery: PMP, PRINCE2Agile delivery: Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum MasterIT service management: ITILExperience managing vendor relationships and third-party delivery engagementsExposure to financial services, healthcare, insurance, or other highly governed industriesHOW TO APPLYInterested candidates can apply directly through this posting with a single click.
