AG. Tractor/Truck Driver Class A

Summary: An AG RX Class A Truck/Tractor Driver is part of the Transportation Department. In this role you will be responsible to deliver materials to California and at times to Arizona customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safely deliver products to customers Operate tanker, flat & step-bed, and trailers Adhere to all FMCSA Rules and Regulations Obtain signature of customer on shipping documents Understand all operational procedures of all equipment Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip truck and equipment inspections Perform routine daily maintenance and cleaning of truck and equipment Assist with loading and unloading materials, as applicable Other duties as assigned Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have current, non-restricted California Driver's License class A with HazMat,Air brake, and Tanker endorsement. Trailer Twic Card required within the first 60 days of employment. Min 21 years of age Must have 1 year experience in the class of vehicle operated Agriculture Experience is a plus Ability to read, write and speak with customer in English Bilingual preferred Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma. Six to twelve months related experience and/ or training; equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers. Bilingual (Spanish) helpful but not required. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers ,common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Reasoning Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Work Days: Monday to Saturday (Saturday hours vary) Must have experience in driving an agriculture tractor.
