Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Frontend-FocusedRemote | Full-time | Product Engineering | 4+ Years' ExperienceX4 Life Sciences is partnering with an innovative healthcare technology company to recruit a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend-Focused). This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing, remote-first engineering team building a modern, multi-tenant case management and patient engagement platform used daily by clinical and operations teams.This role is ideal for an experienced frontend engineer who enjoys owning complex user experiences while remaining comfortable contributing across the full stack when required.About the RoleYou'll take ownership of the product's experience layer, developing complex, data-rich workflows covering case management, dynamic forms, scheduling, payments, and patient communications. While the primary focus is frontend development, you'll also have opportunities to extend GraphQL APIs and contribute to backend services where needed.This is a senior, high-impact position where you'll help shape technical direction, mentor engineers, and influence how products are built.What You'll DoOwn significant frontend features from design through production within a Vue 3, Quasar, and TypeScript application.Build complex, stateful user interfaces including dynamic forms, scheduling tools, dashboards, document/PDF workflows, and Stripe-powered payment experiences.Design and consume GraphQL APIs using Apollo Client, managing caching, queries, mutations, and optimistic updates.Make full-stack contributions by extending GraphQL resolvers and Prisma-backed services within a Node.js and TypeScript backend.Drive frontend architecture, including state management with Pinia, reusable composables, performance optimisation, code splitting, and type safety.Champion accessibility, responsive design, and a consistent design system.Write and maintain automated tests using Vitest and Vue Test Utils.Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams in a remote, asynchronous environment.Mentor engineers, conduct thoughtful code reviews, and contribute to technical leadership.What We're Looking For4+ years of professional frontend or full-stack software engineering experience.Strong experience building production applications using Vue, React, or Angular.Excellent TypeScript skills with a focus on maintainable, type-safe code.Experience consuming GraphQL APIs (Apollo Client or similar) and/or REST APIs.Strong understanding of modern state management (Pinia, Vuex, Redux), Vite, and component-based architectures.Working knowledge of backend development using Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL with Prisma.Ability to independently own features from design through production.Excellent communication skills and experience working successfully within remote teams.Proven leadership qualities, including mentoring engineers and helping drive technical decisions.Nice to HaveExperience with the Quasar Framework.Stripe or other payment platform integrations.Firebase Authentication or enterprise SSO (Azure MSAL).Experience within healthcare, fintech, or other regulated industries.Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and internationalisation (i18n).If you're interested in learning more about this opportunity, please apply and contact o.archer@x4lifesciences.com.
