Lead Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Provide technical leadership for full-stack software design, development, and delivery.• Lead architectural and technical design decisions for features, services, or platforms.• Decompose epics and features into technical implementation plans with clear ownership.• Review and approve technical designs, code changes, and pull requests.• Drive root-cause analysis and resolution of complex production issues.• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using React, Flutter, and Python/Node.js.What You'll Need• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience, or equivalent.• True full-stack fluency across web (React/TypeScript), mobile/cross-platform (Flutter/Dart), and backend (Python or Node.js).• Minimum 2 years of hands-on AWS serverless experience with Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, and EventBridge.• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and serverless deployment patterns.• Proven track record of rapid prototyping with AI/GenAI tools in a professional setting.• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring small engineering teams.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($122,600 - $204,400) plus potential for additional compensation.• Flexible paid time off policies, including vacation, holidays, and wellness leave.• Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.• A culture that promotes quality and innovation.Apply via Haystack today!
