Support given to the individual will vary based on each person's needs and capabilities.Assists with eating, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, oral hygiene, dressing, grooming, communications, assist with feedingTransport and attends activities or programs with residentsComplete various daily, monthly, and other required documentationObserve & report any changes in symptoms, behaviors, accidents, incidents or injuries to charge nursePerform light housekeeping duties in the living areasApplies safety & infection control measuresAssists with redirecting unsafe actions to bring about positive outcomesAssist nursing personnel with admission, discharge & transfer of residentsApplication Procedures:To be considered for this position, you must apply on-line through this posting website. In Department of Developmental Disabilities, must also possess a high school diploma or a certificate of high school equivalence pursuant to Ohio Administrative Code 5123:2-3-03(F) (1) (c).Or in positions at Veteran Services in addition to above must possess STNA certification &/or listed on Ohio Nurse Aide Registry.For positions that require operation of motor vehicle to transport consumers to recreational, educational &/or occupational activities, a valid driver's license is required.Unusual Working Conditions: May be required to stand for extended periods of time. May be required to lift heavy objects from time to time. May be exposed to a variety of bodily fluids and infectious diseases from residents.
