Job Purpose:* Beacon Point at LifeStream offers traditional outpatient treatment services to adults age 18 and over for substance abuse and/or mental illness diagnoses. The MS Therapist Licensed is responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to individuals experiencing a range of psychological issues. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and creating personalized treatment plans to support clients in achieving improved mental health and well-being.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and challenges.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic practices.Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients with diverse backgrounds and mental health conditions.Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to apply best practices in treatment.Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines in the provision of mental health services.Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to clients experiencing acute mental health episodes.
