Their passion for quality drives everything they do.Job Description:The Jackson, MS franchise is excited to invite an experienced Mitigation Manager to join their growing team. The Mitigation Manager is one of the first on-site, responding when it comes to fire, water, storm, mold, or other disasters providing customers with extraordinary care and serving them in their time of need. The company is growing rapidly and is looking for A-Players to represent the vision, mission, and values of their organization. The Mitigation Manager will lead and oversee multiple mitigation crews for a growing, nationally recognized restoration franchise. If you have experience in water damage mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, emergency response, and crew leadership, this is a high-impact opportunity with leadership responsibility and bonus potential.Key ResponsibilitiesEmergency Response & Job OversightRespond to water, fire, mold, and storm damage emergenciesOversee multiple mitigation crews and job schedulesEnsure drying protocols and remediation standards are properly followedMonitor job progress and documentation for insurance complianceCoordinate with Reconstruction Project Managers for smooth handoffsLeadership & Team ManagementLead, train, and mentor mitigation techniciansEnsure crews are following safety guidelines and company standardsManage staffing, scheduling, and job assignmentsMaintain accountability across multiple active projectsCustomer & Insurance CommunicationServe as on-site point of contact for homeowners and property managersCommunicate with insurance adjusters regarding protocols and documentationEnsure proper dry logs, moisture mapping, and job documentation are completed accuratelyMaintain strong relationships with internal PMs and office staffHands-On WorkOperate drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA filtration, etc.)Perform controlled demolition and debris removal when necessaryInspect properties and determine mitigation scopeRequirements:3+ years experience in water, fire, and/or mold mitigation2+ years experience leading crews or managing restoration teamsStrong understanding of insurance-driven mitigation protocolsExperience managing multiple jobs simultaneouslyIICRC certifications (WRT required; ASD/FSRT preferred)Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in physically demanding environmentsComfortable working in water, smoke, mold, and hazardous environments (PPE provided)Valid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to pass background checkBenefits:$55,000 – $65,000 base salary (based on experience)Quarterly performance bonusHealth and dental insuranceFamily-oriented, team-driven cultureLeadership growth opportunityWhat We're Looking ForBe a strong communicatorLead with accountability and integrityStay calm under pressureBe willing to work alongside their teamUnderstand restoration isn't a 9–5 jobThrive in a structured, team-focused environmentThis office values culture, teamwork, and ownership.
