Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.DescriptionCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level systems administrator who shall be responsible for providing support for a large-scale Linux system including installation of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the compute, network, memory, and storage system components. In addition, the System Administrator shall maintain the system security integrity and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Fifteen (15) years' experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is requiredBachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is requiredFive (5) years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.A Security+ Certification is requiredRequired Skills:Experience using the Linux CLIExperience developing scripts using Bash/PythonExperience performing System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a large-scale Linux cluster environmentGeneral technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system componentsExperience with Red Hat Satellite systems management solutionFamiliarity using Splunk for ingesting, indexing, searching, monitoring, and analyzing big dataExperience with the sustainment and support of large Linux clusters including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolutionExperience configuring and sustaining VMware ESXi/Virtualization environmentsExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as SaltStack and AnsibleExperience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and proceduresExperience using system monitoring tools such as HPE One View and NagiosExperience with containerization technologies such as DockerDesired Skills:Experience with container orchestration technologies such as KubernetesExperience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and ConfluenceThis position is open for direct hires only.
