Duties may include direct communication with architectural and engineering firms regarding sustainability forecasts. Additional duties include, but not limited to, comprehensive project specification review, concrete proportioning, and materials quote preparation.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ability to clearly present sustainability options utilizing National RMC tools and software Concrete Specification Review Statistical Analysis Concrete Mix Proportioning Product Quality Control Trouble Shooting Analyze and interpret concrete test results and prepare reports Prepare submittal packagesCOMPETENCIES Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and mathematics skillset Proficiency in concrete industry Lab and Production Software, PowerPoint, Office, Word and Excel Expertise in cement and materials, supplementary cementitious materials, high performance concrete, and concrete and aggregate testing Understands Southern CA ready mix market and local material properties Knowledge of Local and National materials codes and standards Knowledge of plastic and hardened concrete testing and proceduresEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Engineering Degree, preferred Degree in Materials Science or industry related experience 2 or more years of experience in laboratory testing Management or proven leadership experience Valid CA Driver’s License and insurabilitySalary Range- 110,000 - 135,000
