Role summary / purposeResponsible for the development and integration of new or existing applications into the technical infrastructure and existing business processes. Provides technical or functional guidance to project or work teams as needed within a specific discipline. Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains, and/or enhances existing or new systems and web pages that are reliable and efficient.Key responsibilitiesLead development and integration efforts for new or existing applicationsDesign, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, SQL databases, and full-stack applicationsPerform Power BI dashboard development, SQL data structuring, API integrations, workflow automation, and cloud developmentTroubleshoot complex system issues and provide solutionsMentor junior developers and assist in Agile project planningEnsure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and best practicesCollaborate on an ongoing basis with Business Systems AnalystsRequirements - education & experienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required. 6-10 years of experience in application development, cloud computing, and enterprise software architecture.Required skillsProficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, Java, and .NETAWS technologies including Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, S3, and Secrets ManagerGit version controlTypescript, Node.js, Angular, and NestJSDatabase design and optimization including DDL and indexingDocker containerizationPostgres database managementConfluence documentationKnowledge of DevOps practices, cloud automation, ERP integration, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architectureUnderstanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements including SOX and cybersecurity best practicesExperience with Agile methodology, software lifecycle, and scrum ceremoniesNice-to-have / preferred skillsCertifications in AWS, Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce, IT Project Management (PMP, Agile, SAFe), or DevOps methodologiesExperience with SCADA operations, AWS Glue, SNS, and SQSJIRA experience for creating stories and tasksQMetry or Playwright testing experienceImpellam Group and its brands are equal-opportunity employers committed to diversity and inclusion.
