Certified Nursing Assistant- Brooks Rehab University Inpatient -Part Time Days/Night

We are looking for compassionate and patient-focused Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Patient Care Techs (PCTs) to provide direct or indirect patient care under the supervision and direction of a nurse. This important role serves as an invaluable link between a patient and the rest of their healthcare team. If you are looking for a career in improving the quality of life for our patients.PART TIME: 12HR shifts, rotating weekends, several DAYS (7:00a-7:00p) and one NIGHTS (7:00p-7:00a) availableResponsibilities:Assisting with patient activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, meals)Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patientsDocuments observations and care given in accord with hospital process according to hospital policies and procedures.Responds to patient call light timelyAssists with admission, transfers, and discharges of patientsObtains vital signs as directed by plan of care: Temperature, Pulse, Respirations, Blood pressure, noninvasive oxygen saturationAssists the nurse in giving physical and emotional support to the patient.Provides for dietary and fluid needs of the patient, such nourishment, feeding, maintaining an accurate fluid intake & output.Electronic Medical Record documentation as needed for the jobQualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.1 year of experience as a CNA or PCT in a short-term skilled nursing facility OR acute care OR post-acute care inpatient hospital required.Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.MUST be able to attend a full week of Orientation/Training, Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pmThriving in a culture that you can be proud of, you will also receive many employee benefits such as the following:Competitive PayComprehensive Benefits packageEmployee DiscountsClinical Education and Professional Development ProgramsBrooks Rehabilitation is a designated Magnet Hospital.
