Come join Dexterity and help make intelligent robots a reality!We are seeking a motivated, experienced individual to fill the role of Manufacturing Engineer, Document Control.In this role, you will manage all aspects of Engineering Change Order (ECO) and Bill of Material (BOM) management, ensuring that these critical documents are accurate, up-to-date, and complete. This includes creating, updating, and maintaining BOMs, coordinating configuration management processes, and managing BOM changes through rigorous change control. Your close collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams will enable you to verify component availability and specifications, along with recommending cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our product information management systems and successfully bring products to volume manufacturing and meet market demands.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the accuracy and completeness of product data, including 3D models, 2D drawings, part numbering, BOM, electrical schematics, and documentationOversee the generation and release of Engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI) support documentation into consumable packages for downstream internal customers, and maintain the integrity of Dexterity’s Teamcenter PLM systemCreate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) through collaboration with our Engineering teamsPublish ECO information and reports in order to notify all relevant parties of the upcoming and completed changesContinuously update the release and change management processes (and other PLM activities) to ensure tasks are performed efficientlySupport, when identified, the configuration of PLM and ERP system integrationProvide input and feedback on Obsolescence Management including forecasting, engineering solutions, last time buy management, and coordination with supply chain and field support engineersContribute to product build documentation, including Operations Methods Sheet (OMS) creation and redlinesDesired ExperienceBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field5+ years of hands-on experience in Manufacturing and NPI documentationProven experience with the Teamcenter PLM systemIn-depth knowledge of PLM/BOM principles, methodologies, and best practicesStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentsExcellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive initiatives to completionExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organizationStrong ability to multi-task and switch contexts while managing multiple projects simultaneouslyContinuous improvement oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and data integrityCAD system experience is a plusEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. Base pay is one component of a broader compensation package that may include equity grants, benefits, and other incentives, depending on role and eligibility.For this position, the expected base salary range is $110,000 to $160,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, education, and market factors, and may vary accordingly.Final compensation decisions are made individually and take a number of factors into consideration. Eligible employees may be considered for equity awards as part of their overall compensation.
