Business Analyst- Hybrid - Springfield, IL

Role: Senior Business Analyst Location: Springfield, IL - Hybrid with on-site 100% of the time for first 30 days followed by 3 days on site, two days remote.     Job Description:  ·      Minimum of five years of work experience in a senior business analyst role with demonstrating proven expertise translating business requirements into technical requirements for IT-based projects. ·      Experience in translating School Improvement Funding, Title I School Improvement Continuation and Planning grant requirements, financial forecasts, and School Funding Business rules and processes into technical requirements for a large-scale project at a State Education Agency. Details of the work experience, clearly stating the above, must be included in the resume.·      Minimum four years of experience gathering business requirements and creating user stories using Agile software development cycles.Skills required: At least five years of work experience in a business analyst role with all the skills listed below for IT-based projects.   ·      Using Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps. ·      Working with Balsamiq (or other screen mockup tools).   ·      Utilizing Microsoft Office 365.  ·      Writing user stories and performing quality assurance testing on stories.  ·      Monitoring and prioritizing work in an Agile environment. ·      Leading onsite and remote Agile Scrum ceremonies and meetings. ·      Designing prototypes and mockup designs. ·      Logging deliverables and tracking timelines. Certifications :·      Agile-related Scrum Master Certification (or equivalent) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) certification or equivalent.
