We are seeking a Sales Coordinator for our Hixson, Tennessee market.TownePlace Suites by Marriott is a longer stay hotel that helps guests stay productive and upbeat. Our Sales Coordinator is an active member of the community, proactive and driven to maximize revenue, marketshare and profitability. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for executing strategic sales plans, building strong client relationships, and ensuring brand standards are upheld, while providing leadership.Develop and implement sales strategies for both hotels to attain budgeted revenue objectivesIdentify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, group, leisure, and government segmentsConduct regular market analysis to anticipate competitive trendsCollaborate with above property support to optimize pricing, inventory management, and distribution channelsClient Relationship ManagementEstablish and sustain relationships with key accounts, travel agencies, and community partnersEngage in client visits, property tours, and presentations to foster business growthRepresent both properties at industry trade shows, networking events, and community activitiesNo matter what position you are in, there are a few things that are critical to success – creating a safe work place, following company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, upholding quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional. Our Sales Coordinator will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time) and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping).
