This position plans and delivers instruction aligned with district curriculum, assesses student progress, and collaborates with staff and families to promote student success in accordance with Marana Unified School District policies.Key Responsibilities:* Plan and deliver instruction aligned with curriculum and student needs* Assess student learning and adjust instruction using data* Maintain accurate records, including grades and attendance* Establish a safe, well-managed classroom environment* Use differentiated instruction and technology to enhance learning* Communicate regularly with parents/guardians* Collaborate with colleagues and specialists* Participate in team meetings and professional learning communitiesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Knowledge of grade-level/subject-area content and learning theory* Strong classroom management and organizational skills* Effective verbal and written communication skills* Ability to analyze student progress and implement instructional plans* Proficiency with educational technologyQUALIFICATIONSRequired:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/universityValid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance CardArizona Standard or Alternative Secondary, 6-12 Teaching Certificate with Middle Grades Social Studies approved areaOther:Salary:$51,050.87 - $55,773.03 (based on current hiring schedule)9 Month Contracted Regular Position
