Registered Nurse

Job Title Job duties: Prepares, administers and documents prescribed medications/treatments as per facility policy and procedure. Performs venipuncture and collects specimens as per policy. Encourages and/or facilitates treatment programs that foster skill building, especially the Treatment Mall and Therapeutic Community Meetings. Provides health education groups and individual patient/family teaching as needed. Completes or assures completion of Daily Assignment Sheet. Provides supervision to subordinate nursing staff to assure safe delivery of nursing care and services to patients. Completes the Nursing Assessment according to the policy. Anticipates and maintains a safe, therapeutic and secure environment based on acuity. Utilizes crisis intervention techniques according to facility policies and procedures.
