TheAlgorithms Analysts will perform testing, and analysis of tracking algorithms using Python. Responsibilities will also include tool development and maintenance to help support analysis, plot generation, software performance testing, test case development, collecting IR sensor and measurement data in relation to target tracking and performance evaluation of algorithms. The Algorithms Analyst will participate in technical peer reviews and work with various Integrated Product Teams and have the ability to communicate and present technical findings, approaches, and recommendations to the Software and Algorithm Engineering teams. This is position involves reading data, collecting files, generating plots, some scripting to automate tasks (not a ton of writing of code - mostly maintenance of existing code base or occasional new development). It is primarily test, running automation scripts on results to review output and identify anomalies that may have occurred in that testingThe Algorithms Analyst will also be responsible for receiving IR data and simulated data, evaluating system performance, tracking residuals, coding and integration in to systems and working through assigned defects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Physics based and aerospace concepts and algorithms for missile tracking and prediction.
