Steak N' Shake Cashier/Hostess - FT

We're looking for upbeat, reliable team members to join our fast-paced Steak 'n Shake restaurant inside the OYO Hotel & Casino. As a Cashier/Host, you'll take orders, serve food and drinks, and help ensure every guest has a great experience.What You'll Do:Greet guests and take food and beverage ordersAccurately ring orders and handle cash, comps, and POS transactionsPack to-go orders and include necessary condimentsGarnish and serve food and drinks quickly and correctlyKeep front-of-house and dining areas clean and organizedClear tables, sweep floors, and restock items as neededResolve minor guest issues or refer to managementComplete opening/closing duties based on shiftFollow all health and safety standardsWhat We're Looking For:Strong customer service and communication skillsAbility to multitask in a busy, team-focused environmentBasic computer skills and familiarity with POS systemsKnowledge of food service and health/sanitation guidelinesMust be 18+ and able to work weekends and holidaysPreferred:Bilingual a plus2 years of food service or cashier experienceExperience working in a resort or hotel settingLicense Requirement:Food Handler's CardParagon Tropicana is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains the policy of recruiting and retaining the best-qualified personnel who demonstrate the ability to perform competently and work well with others.
