Special Education Teacher
Duties:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide instruction and support to students with various disabilities, including but not limited to learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional/behavioral disorders
- Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
- Use a variety of instructional techniques and technologies to engage students in the learning process
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Attend meetings and professional development sessions to stay current on best practices in special education.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid M/M credential.
- Experience working with children with special needs, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies for students with disabilities
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed

Summary
The Special Education Teacher position requires a compassionate individual with a strong background in working with children, especially those with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have experience in curriculum development. A Bachelor's degree and Special Education Certification are mandatory, with preference given to candidates with teaching experience more than 2 years.
