Mission
Ensure every part we receive and every product we build meets specifications, standards, and customer requirements—so the systems people rely on perform when it counts.
How you’ll make an impact
Inspection & Testing
Execute incoming, in-process, and final inspections and tests to verify conformance.
Assemble samples on the measuring table, run dimensional layouts, and record results.
Interpret engineering drawings to evaluate components, tooling, fixtures, and finished goods.
Nonconformance & Problem Solving
Open/complete nonconforming material hold tags in the QMS.
Collaborate with Quality Engineers on defect investigations, root cause, and preventive controls.
Notify Quality Engineers and the QA Manager immediately of any issue that could impact product quality.
Supplier Quality & Approvals
Collect data and assist with resolving supplier nonconformances.
Review supplier sample submissions for dimensional accuracy.
Support in-plant sampling, inspections, and test activities for UL, FM, ISO, and similar bodies.
Metrology, Calibration & Lab Operations
Operate, schedule, and maintain QA lab equipment to support Production and other teams.
Administer calibration of inspection/test gauges used by Production and QA—ensuring on-time calibration and documented traceability.
Design or procure fixtures needed for measurement tasks.
Maintain housekeeping of the QA lab and sample/test areas.
Control sample retention inventory and related documentation.
Documentation, Data & Systems
Prepare formal test reports and distribute results with Quality Engineering.
Develop documentation to present, report, maintain, and archive measurement data.
Enter key information into QA databases and the ERP system.
Participate in ECN/ECR processes as required.
Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Ability to learn capability and statistical methods to analyze supplier/internal performance.
Skill in geometric tolerance measurement and dimensioning.
Systematic, methodical problem-solving ability.
Data-driven mindset: identify trends, form conclusions, and implement change.
