Our client has a strong track record of promoting from within and is looking for someone with a strong work ethic who is eager to step up and take ownership.ABOUT THE ROLEThis role supports a client-facing Project Manager and coordinates regional field resources across telecom projects. You will play a key role in ensuring technicians are prepared, materials are ordered, schedules are aligned, and project updates are accurately tracked.You will balance operational coordination with cost tracking and reporting to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.PERKS AND BENEFITS$30 to $33/hour plus benefits and overtimeOpportunity to grow within a company that promotes from withinHigh-impact position working directly with client leadershipExposure to telecom construction operations and project controlsStable, long-term opportunity with a well-established organizationCollaborative and supportive team environmentWHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGCoordinate telecom maintenance and construction projects from kickoff to closeoutOrder materials and ensure field technicians receive required documentation before job startSchedule and track regional field resourcesManage project logs, CRM updates, and Excel trackers with real-time status updatesLead weekly update calls with internal teams and client stakeholdersPrepare daily work-in-progress (WIP) reports and training summariesSupport cost tracking for labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipmentAssist with forecasting and project performance metrics (CPI, SPI, EAC)Support change management processes and ensure accurate billing documentationCollaborate closely with field managers to ensure job readiness and timely project completionWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE3+ years of experience in construction project coordination or project controlsTelecommunications industry experience is strongly preferred (Comcast, Verizon, or similar providers are highly valued)Fiber optics knowledge is an asset, but strong project coordination experience is equally valuedAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and IF statementsFamiliarity with project performance metrics such as CPI, SPI, and EACExperience with Smartsheet or the ability to quickly learn new project management systemsStrong leadership presence and confidence coordinating across multiple teamsExcellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple prioritiesStrong work ethic, initiative, and desire for long-term career growth
