Transactional Associate Attorney (Flexible Hybrid Offered)

These generally fall into three umbrella categories: complex commercial litigation in the state and federal courts; corporate transactional matters; and attorney ethics defense. The personal service element of our boutique business is the hallmark of our firm.The firm is headquartered out of Union, New Jersey and maintains additional offices in New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.Role Responsibilities OverviewManaging a caseload of assignments across numerous clients and varying industriesDrafting, reviewing, negotiating, and providing consultation to clients relating to, agreements in a wide array of fields, including intellectual property, entertainment and sports, construction, health and digital businessesAdvising clients with respect to all stages of sales and acquisitions of a variety of businesses from inception through closingPreparing corporate governance documents for both for-profit and nonprofit entitiesProviding general counsel services for a variety of for-profit and nonprofit entitiesFiling trademarks and copyrights and collaborating with the litigation team respecting the enforcement of those rightsConducting complex legal research and analysis into nuanced areas of law, industry regulations, and practicesAbout the PositionThe position is eligible for participation in the firm’s remote work arrangements, generally at the attorney’s discretion. However, because the position is based out of the firm’s headquarters in Union, New Jersey candidates must be able to commute to the office if requested to do so in a given instance.The firm provides extensive training and mentorship program for associate attorneys, including a 2-4 week intensive program overseen by our managing attorney. Compensation: Base Salary: $125,000 - $175,000/year. This position is also eligible for discretionary quarterly bonus evaluations. The salary range does not guarantee, obligate, nor set expectations of an applicant’s salary in the event of hire.
