Someone who can handle updates and improvements when needed, while collaborating with developers on more complex functionality.What You'll Be DoingDesigning clean, intuitive user experiences across websites, landing pages, and digital platformsTurning business goals and feedback into thoughtful, user-friendly designsCreating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that translate clearly into developmentBuilding and updating websites using WordPress, ACF, and modern front-end toolsTranslating Figma or design files into clean, production-ready front-end updatesImproving usability, performance, and conversion across client websitesImplementing SEO, AEO, accessibility, and mobile-first best practicesSupporting analytics setup (Google Analytics, GTM) as neededTroubleshooting front-end issues and making ongoing improvementsCollaborating with developers when more complex functionality is requiredManaging multiple projects and keeping work moving forwardWhat We're Looking ForSomeone who takes ownership. If something needs to be fixed, you fix itStrong attention to detail (you notice the small things others miss)Ability to manage multiple projects without things slippingStrong design sense paired with practical execution skillsComfortable making changes directly in websites when needed.Someone who thinks through the "why," not just the "how"A problem-solver who doesn't default to shortcutsStrong communication skills and ability to work with a teamRequirements3+ years of experience in UI/UX design and web developmentExperience with WordPress (themes, plugins, content updates, ACF)Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design toolsExperience translating designs into clean, functional front-end updatesUnderstanding of UX principles and how users interact with websitesFamiliarity with SEO, AEO, and performance best practicesBasic understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, GTM)Ability to collaborate with developers on more advanced functionalityPlease include a portfolio that demonstrates both your design ability and real-world application.Submissions should reflect:Original design work (not templates or drag-and-drop builders)Examples of websites you've worked on (live links preferred)Clean, modern design with strong attention to layout, spacing, and usabilityReal-world applications, not just concept designsWork that shows your ability to improve user experience, not just aestheticsBonus if you can show examples where you contributed to both design and implementationHybrid position based in Crown Point, INMinimum of three days per week in-officeFirst 90 days (training period) required in-office five days per weekWhat This Role Is (and Isn't)This is a hands-on, execution-focused role.
