Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A pharmacy opportunity is available for a PRN Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage at a retail-specialty pharmacy in Waterbury, CT. This engaging role offers a chance to work with a focused, low-volume pharmacy specializing in respiratory medications, ensuring a manageable and steady workflow.Responsibilities IncludeAccurately filling and verifying approximately 12 prescriptions daily Operating independently without technician support Offering patient counseling and delivering excellent customer service Managing workflow efficiently in a retail-specialty setting Ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations Schedule/ShiftAssignment Dates: May 31 – June 10 Training: May 26 – May 29 (4 days required if QS1 system knowledge is lacking) Shift Options: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM PRN schedule to cover vacation period QualificationsActive Connecticut pharmacist license in good standing Recent retail or specialty pharmacy experience preferred Experience with QS1 pharmacy system preferred; training provided if needed Ability to work autonomously without technician support Strong attention to detail and dedication to patient care This per diem contract role offers a structured training period and the chance to contribute in a supportive, focused environment.
