Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,605 per week

Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Urbana, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 9 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiological procedures using imaging equipment to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries. Job Responsibilities: Perform radiographic procedures per department protocols and manufacturer guidelines. Review cases with radiologists when necessary. Assess patient history and labs to ensure correct exams are performed. Administer IV, oral, or rectal contrast as appropriate and monitor for adverse reactions. Screen patients for pregnancy and conduct pregnancy testing if applicable. Verify radiology orders for accuracy and completeness. Critique imaging quality, including positioning, technical factors, and alignment. Transfer and verify image data in PACS, ensuring all necessary information is available for interpretation. Maintain imaging equipment and work environment, including supply inventory and cleanliness. Report equipment malfunctions and safety events promptly. Assist in training students and new staff as needed. Perform duties of Rad Tech Lead or Imaging Coordinator in their absence. Support other modalities within the department as required by licensure or compliance. Required Education: Associate's Degree in a related field or Certificate in Radiologic Technology. Preferred Education: N/A Required Certifications & Licensure: BLS (American Heart Association). IEMA Radiography License (Illinois). Radiography (R)(ARRT). Preferred Certifications & Licensure: N/A Required Skills & Experience: Positive attitude and willingness to improve the work environment. Ability to multitask and coordinate patient flow with technical procedures requiring independent judgment.
