Maintenance Technician

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to ensure the operational efficiency of our facility's equipment and systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of machinery, with a strong focus on automated packaging equipment and electrical systems. Your expertise will directly contribute to minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve issues with facility components and systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Maintain and repair automated packaging machinery, enhancing overall equipment effectiveness. Apply your knowledge of pump theory to maintain and repair various pumping systems. Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance. Interpret electrical schematics to facilitate effective troubleshooting and repairs. Maintain and repair electrical control and power circuits, ensuring safety and reliability. Perform welding and soldering tasks as needed to fabricate or repair equipment components. Contribute to the upkeep of facility support systems, including steam, hot water, compressed air, and refrigeration. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Proficiency in PLC and electrical troubleshooting. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience with hydraulic systems. Preferred Skills Experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). Knowledge of conveyor systems and servo motors.
