Medical Lab Tech - Night Shift

Medical Lab Tech Full-Time Position Night Shift Job Summary: Performs routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on all types of blood and body fluid specimens under minimal supervision Ensures accurate and reliable test results by adhering to a strict quality control program Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures according to department policies and procedures Maintains records and statistical data according to regulative requirements Teaches new employees and students lab policies and procedures Required to perform phlebotomy and work directly with patients on a daily basis Assists as needed in all lab areas as required to maintain appropriate patient care Must be able to perform problem solving skills in all aspects of performance Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited MLT or accredited MT program, program and passing national exam given by the Board of Registry of the American Society for Clinical Pathology Registry of the American Society for Clinical Pathology Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
