Job DetailsRole: Mainframe CICS System AdminDuration : 6 MonthsShift: 08:00 AM EST to 5:00 PM ESTREMOTE(US)Total exp: 15 YearsRequired Technical And Professional ExpertiseEngineer with 15 Plus years of experience in CICS systems programming.Basic Knowledge on the following technologies: z/OS, Unix System Services, SMP/E, REXX, Java, VSAM, Third party productsExperience in CICS transaction server, related ISV products.As a Subject matter expert provide direct technical support as needed in the planning, coordination, installation, and implementation and testing of releases, upgrades, or changes to CICS and related ISV products.Capable of Upgrading/Installing and Migrating CICS Transaction servers.Diagnose CICS system and related product issues and follow up with root cause analysis.Capable of Upgrading /Installing and supporting IBM & ISV related Products Proficient in technologies like P2V, V2V and P2P migrationsPreferred Technical And Professional ExperienceMinimum of a bachelor's degree in a IT related field or equivalent work experienceBanking or financial services industry experienceKnowledge of Assembler, COBOL, CICS, and DB2The ability to work independently as well as part of a teamExcellent troubleshooting and customer service skillsParticipate in on-call rotation with the engineering teams.The ability to follow a project through to completion, and/or to work as part of a larger team to complete the components of a complex project
