Join Our Team as a Program Manager! Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for leading projects and driving results? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join our team at Dekko! The Program Manager manages a portfolio of strategic projects for Group Dekko’s customers, which includes the customer, Global Sales, Marketing, Business Strategy & Development, and R & D functions. Responsible for planning, coordinating, communicating and analyzing projects that support products as well as other customer experience areas. Program Managers lead project teams to deliver projects on time, ensuring the objectives of the project are fulfilled and the results are obtained efficiently. Acts as a resource and coach to the customer support teams to ensure that project management methodologies and tools are embedded in the organization. Since “speed to market” is a critical goal, the Program Manager also evaluates current Group Dekko practices and identifies ways to shorten project cycles, identify risk/reward scenarios for increased speed. Will also conduct “best practice” studies within current customers, industry leaders, and others to ensure Group Dekko practices evolve effectively. Throughout new product launches, focus is given to capability improvements of product from a design, process, and supplier standpoint. This position will allow the individual to influence the new product design and process to achieve the highest quality products. What you'll do: Coordinate and execute activities for assigned markets and customer products and projects. Coordinate with stakeholders to promote an integrated work plan template and create individual work plans tailored to ensure deliverables are achieved. Ensure that processes, dependencies, resources and critical paths are clearly identified and managed. Assume lead in developing project charters and project plans for the implementation of key projects. Monitor and follow up on projects to bring in deliverables on time and manage until completed. Provide progress updates and summaries toward completion of project goals and objectives. Develop visual representation of completeness. Responsible for forecasting, negotiating, monitoring and controlling project schedules to ensure that implementations occur on time and that details are managed well. Obtain necessary input and approvals required to move project through planning and implementation process. Provide regular updates to customers, operations, sales, and customer service teams and others for promoting review of emerging needs, identification of issues and resolutions, and timely decision-making of recommended improvements. Work proactively and coordinate interfaces with cross functional teams/departments to resolve problems and conflicts regarding resources, activity interdependencies and timelines associated with project implementations. Facilitate regular project meetings and keep project team members updated on project status and relevant issues. Manage New Product Development process in coordination with engineering team. Perform risk assessments to identify potential problems. Maintain understanding new customer specific requirements. Assist with resource allocation. Monitor performance timeline commitments on a regular basis to ensure that product launches are completed on time and within budget. Define tools used for conception, design, development, communication, and launch of new products. Perform run at rate assessments as needed. Work closely with sourcing to develop new suppliers and coordinate control plans when needed. Occasional travel to global manufacturing sites and suppliers as required. About you: Ability to lead and direct team of professionals to accomplish goals and objectives. Able to communicated effectively with both internal and external customers. Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications including Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and SharePoint. Experience in adjacent markets a plus, manufacturing experience required. Expert level attention to detail with the ability to manage projects effectively. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience of 5 to 7 years of project management experience in mid to large projects, preferably with experience leading product development projects (product-to market) required.
