Welder (GTAW/TIG)

Job PostingJob Responsibilities:Prepare materials for welding; cuts, grinds and cleans metal.Need a GTAW/TIG welder.Read weld blueprints, engineered drawings, and follow work order requirements.Set up the welding machine for specific materials, thicknesses, and positionsDimensionally inspects welds and other characteristics of parts being welded using tools such as calipers, protractors, and gauges.Inspects all parts for proper assembly and cosmetic defects. Tags any non-conforming parts with re-work labelsComplete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and within standard timesFollow all safety guidelines and wear all Personal Protective EquipmentMust be able to lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is requiredMinimum of 3 years experience in Aerospace Welding5 years of solid general computer skills required, proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel in particular, being proficient in math skills required1 year of basic welding and metallurgy requiredRead, interpret, and process to work instructionsMaintain a neat and orderly workstation and promote overall good housekeeping practicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillMust be proficient with Microsoft Office tools
