This position involves the supervision of Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees within a supportive team environment. The RN will prioritize patient safety and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization./n/nResponsibilities/n/n- Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized plans of care./n- Identify teaching needs for patients and families, facilitating collaboration with the interdisciplinary team./n- Provide timely updates on patient status for team conferences./n- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in medical records accurately and promptly./n- Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and deliver direct patient care effectively./n- Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission./n- Ensure effective communication regarding changes in patient status among care providers./n- Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel, making appropriate delegations./n- Maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff in compliance with relevant policies./n- Actively contribute to team building and a positive work environment./n- Manage and communicate service needs related to supplies and equipment./n- Assume charge responsibilities as requested and seek continual professional development./n/n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n/n- BLS Certification required prior to the first shift./n- ACLS required prior to the first shift (specific to CIRH only)./n- Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required./n/n/nSchedule/nThis position is for a Night shift, working 3x12 hour shifts./n/nAssignment Duration/nThis is a 13-week contract position./n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/nAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
