Human Services - Quality Assurance/MH Program Specialist II

The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) is a professional who is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and proposing measures to improve service provision in order to meet established quality standards. This is professional work of an administrative nature involving the community Mental Health programs of Butler County Human Services. The QAS establishes and implements quality standards to ensure that individuals who receive services are having their expectations met and receiving a high quality of service provision. This position shares their time between the community and administrative work or research in the office environment. MET REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in a human services related field such as social work, counseling, psychology, gerontology, education, or criminal justice and three years of professional level experience in quality assurance, quality management, and/or quality improvement in the field of mental health or human services related fields in a public or private social service provider agency. Veterans’ Preference applies.
