Medical Device AssemblerThe assembler works in a fast-paced medical device warehouse, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing materials are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures. This role supports daily assembly and production operations, contributes to production goals, and helps maintain a well-organized, safety-focused environment.ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing lists or purchase orders, and ensure accuracy of quantities and item descriptions.Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging materials according to shipping requirements and internal procedures.Work effectively in a fast-paced medical device warehouse environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.Use hand tools and basic equipment as needed to handle, prepare, or secure materials for shipping and receiving activities.Follow schematics or basic instructions when handling materials or components.Collaborate closely with production team members, typically working with a group of 510 people, to support daily operational and month-end goals.Support month-end demands by remaining available on the last business day of each month to stay later, potentially until 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM, when required to meet goals.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with warehouse and medical device standards.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding shipment issues, delays, or discrepancies.Demonstrate a positive, energetic attitude and contribute to a cooperative, team-oriented work culture.Essential Skills12 years of warehouse experience.Experience with shipping and receiving processes in a warehouse environment.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical device warehouse setting.Basic proficiency with hand tools used in shipping, receiving, or light assembly tasks.Ability to follow schematics or written instructions related to materials and components.Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with a small production team.Reliable attendance and willingness to support extended hours on the last business day of the month when needed.Consistently positive and energetic attitude with a focus on collaboration.Additional Skills & QualificationsSupervisory or lead experience is beneficial, including advising or managing teammates.Familiarity with basic computer usage, such as navigating the Windows operating system, is preferred for more advanced or lead responsibilities.Experience in medical device manufacturing or assembly, including familiarity with device history records and related policies, is a plus.Experience with device assembly in electronics or automotive environments is also relevant and valued.Knowledge of material handling practices is preferred, especially for those taking on broader responsibilities.Why Work Here?This is an opportunity to join a growing organization that is actively building a winning, team-oriented culture. The standard schedule is first shift, with a typical start time of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; during the first couple of weeks, training may begin at 8:00 AM. Team members must be available on the last business day of each month to stay later, potentially until 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM, to support month-end demands when required. Weekend work may occasionally be requested on a very limited, case-by-case basis. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on meeting production and shipping goals while maintaining quality and safety standards. A great attitude, reliability, and comfort working in a structured, goal-oriented warehouse setting are essential.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
