Manufacturing Technician Minnetonka, MN 1st shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Mon - Thurs) 2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM (Mon - Thurs) 3rd shift: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Fri - Sun) Pay: $28.50 per hour 26-04587 Job Summary The Manufacturing Technician supports production operations for new product launches by troubleshooting equipment, improving manufacturing processes, and assisting with daily production activities. This role works closely with assemblers, engineers, and maintenance teams to ensure production efficiency, product quality, and equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position also supports process improvements, yield investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with FDA and quality system requirements.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport production operations as a front-line process and equipment technicianTroubleshoot manufacturing equipment and investigate process-related issuesAssist with manufacturing process improvements, tooling, fixtures, and equipment modificationsSupport new product introductions and production launchesCoach and assist assemblers with manufacturing and testing proceduresInterpret test data, analyze product performance, and support yield improvement activitiesPerform scrap dissection and assist with root cause investigationsCollaborate with maintenance teams to support equipment uptime and production continuityCommunicate production issues, process updates, and shift handoff information effectivelyRecommend improvements related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost reductionMaintain compliance with FDA regulations, QMS, EMS, and company proceduresSupport cross-functional teams and participate in continuous improvement initiativesJob RequirementsHigh school diploma, trade school certification, apprenticeship, or equivalent training in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field1–4 years of manufacturing technician experience requiredStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively with both technical and non-technical personnelStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to teach, coach, and support production employeesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently with limited supervisionFlexibility to support overtime or alternate shifts when needed preferredEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTrade school certification or specialized technical training preferredWork Experience1–4 years of manufacturing technician experience requiredMedical device manufacturing experience preferred but not required
