HR and Operations Manager

Job Description Fraser Watson & Croutch is seeking an experienced Human Resources Operations Manager to lead and support the Firm's HR operations, compliance processes, employee relations functions, and workforce administration across multiple office locations and remote employees.This role serves as the Firm's primary HR contact and plays a key role in supporting day-to-day business operations through employee support, policy administration, benefits coordination, onboarding, performance management support, compliance tracking, and HR operational oversight.The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling sensitive personnel matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced professional environment and can balance operational priorities with employee support responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources OperationsManage day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, personnel records, employee support, and policy administrationServe as the primary HR resource for employees and managers regarding workplace policies, procedures, and HR-related mattersMaintain accurate and compliant employee documentation and HR recordsSupport HR operations across multiple office locations and remote employeesBenefits & Payroll CoordinationCoordinate benefits administration including enrollments, qualifying life events, employee deductions, and employee benefit supportAssist with payroll coordination, audits, reconciliations, and payroll-related inquiriesServe as operational backup support for payroll administration functionsCoordinate with benefit providers, carriers, and payroll partners as neededEmployee Relations & Performance SupportSupport employee relations matters, workplace concerns, corrective action processes, and performance improvement plansProvide managers with guidance regarding performance management, workplace expectations, and policy interpretationAssist with investigations, documentation, and employee communication processesCompliance & Risk AdministrationSupport compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and Firm policiesCoordinate onboarding, harassment prevention, compliance, and operational training requirementsTrack training completion, maintain documentation, and support compliance reporting processesCoordinate leave administration, accommodation processes, workers' compensation reporting, return-to-work coordination, and related documentationSupport wage and hour compliance, personnel recordkeeping, and workplace documentation requirementsOffice & Operational SupportSupport operational and administrative functions across multiple office locationsCoordinate vendors, office support services, facilities needs, and operational workflows as neededSupervise administrative and office support staff and assist with workflow coordinationQualifications5+ years of human resources, workforce administration, or HR operations experienceExperience supporting employee relations and HR compliance processesStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretionExperience coordinating benefits administration, onboarding, leave administration, and compliance-related processesPrior supervisory or leadership experience preferredExperience supporting multi-office or remote work environments preferredHR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) preferred but not requiredPreferred Systems ExperiencePaylocity HRIS, payroll, onboarding, benefits, and timekeeping systemsMicrosoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)Electronic personnel file and HR documentation systemsBenefits administration and leave management platformsAdobe Acrobat, DocuSign, and related business systemsWhat We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is:Professional, approachable, and service-orientedOrganized and highly detail-orientedAble to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentComfortable exercising sound judgment and discretionStrong in communication, follow-through, and problem-solvingComfortable supporting both in-office and remote employees across multiple locationsCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $80,000 – $145,000 annuallyActual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.Benefits may include:Medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement plan participationPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development opportunitiesBonus eligibility and other Firm-sponsored benefitsEqual Opportunity EmployerFraser Watson & Croutch is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions without regard to any protected status under applicable federal, state, or local law.Company Description https://fwclawyers.com Company Description https://fwclawyers.com
