Workday Financials Integration Specialist We are seeking a senior-level Workday Financials Integration Specialist who lives and breathes Workday integrations — someone who has spent years deep in Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors, and who can architect, build, and own complex financial data flows from day one. This is not a generalist role. We need a specialist who brings proven, hands-on Workday Financials integration experience and can operate independently in a fast-paced environment where financial data accuracy and system uptime are non-negotiable. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Integration Architecture & OwnershipArchitect and deliver end-to-end integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builders (EIB), and Core/Cloud Connectors — with a specific focus on Financials modules (FDM, Accounts Payable, General Ledger)Design and maintain complex XSLT transformations and Calculated Fields to meet precise vendor and business file format requirementsOwn API-based integrations using Workday Web Services (WWS), REST, and SOAP protocolsFinancial Process AutomationPartner directly with Finance to identify and automate manual data processes — including journal vouchers, bank statement imports, and supplier invoice feedsTranslate accounting team requirements into precise, production-ready technical specifications with minimal handholdingIntegration Reliability & PerformanceMonitor integration events daily; proactively detect, diagnose, and resolve failures before they impact financial operationsContinuously optimize existing integrations for performance, data integrity, and maintainabilityOwn release impact assessments for bi-annual Workday updates, ensuring zero disruption to critical financial feedsCompliance, Security & DocumentationAudit integration security configurations to enforce least-privilege access across all financial data transmissionsEnsure all integrations meet audit and compliance requirementsMaintain thorough documentation including data mapping, technical specs, and runbooks for the full integration portfolioStakeholder Collaboration & TestingBridge the gap between Finance, IT, and external vendors — translating business needs into technical solutions with speed and accuracyLead rigorous unit testing and drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all new and modified integrationsWHAT YOU BRING5–7+ years of hands-on Workday integration development experience — this is the hard floor, not a preferenceDeep, demonstrated expertise in Workday Financials: FDM, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and related modulesAdvanced proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and XSLTSolid working knowledge of Workday Web Services (WWS), REST, and SOAP APIsAbility to work independently, prioritize effectively, and own issues through to resolutionBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred — or equivalent professional experienceELIGIBLE WORK LOCATIONS This position is open to candidates residing in the following states and provinces: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin — and Ontario, Canada.
