Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab (Hiring Immediately)
Up to $15,000 Bonus Based on EligibilityJob Type: Full TimeShift: Days (6 AM - 6:30 PM)On Call Requirements: Required after hours, on the weekends, and Holidays as per rotation. Must be able to respond to emergencies within 30 minutes of alert.Performs direct and indirect functions in the cardiac cath lab. Assists all physicians/staff with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Scrubs, monitors, and circulates in all invasive procedures in the Cath Lab. The department provides training on Structural Heart scrubbing.Assesses physical, psychosocial, and growth and development needs of the patient, completes pre, intra and post procedure assessment, informs nurse/MD of any changes in patient's condition.Develops a plan of care for procedure being performed, plan of care is individualized to include specific patient problems, needs and scheduled procedure.Provides teaching and guidance to patient and/or family as well as staff members.Able to execute x-ray for desired views- abdominal aorta gram, runoff, division, storing and printing images, sets priorities for care of patients based on patient's needs and resources available,identifies and performs appropriately in emergency patient care solutions.Assists with set-up, insertion and care of temporary and permanent pacemakers.Circulates and Monitors all Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Procedures including Structural Heart Procedures. Able to mix and administer intraprocedural and emergency cardiac medications including providing conscious sedation medications. Scrubbing training available for Nurse who are interested to expand their role.Special SkillsKnowledge of set up and monitoring of IABPAble to function on all cardiac alerts and STEMI casesMinimum RequirementsExperience: 6 months in Cath Lab/Cardiac Intervention Lab.Education: Associate degree in Radiology or equivalent, Basic EKG course.Certifications:BLSACLS within 6 months of hirePreferred RequirementsExperience: 1 year experience providing cardiac cath, radiology careEducation: Bachelor in Radiology or equivalent.Certifications: RCIS certification#LI-MB1Join our dedicated healthcare team where compassion meets innovation!
